  Massive child abuse cover up. Massive lies about the Bible. Massive group mind control promoting hysteria and dividing families... but they were pro vaccine.

  So they get a pat on the back? Healthcare - it wasn't even their field of expertise - although maybe some of them could have had a go a diagnosing leprosy. Leviticus 13:1-17

  I never heard anyone try though.

  BTW I think there's some kind of registration system for attending meetings. Wonder if they'll be encouraging publishers to give them access to their medical records, in time. Would you trust them? Would you ever think of what happened in Jonestown where a significant number were "injected against their will".

  Hi DNCall - what I'm trying to say is that sexual abuse is something we understand. But when it comes to law (ie Man's laws (whatsoever they may be) as opposed to God's Way (ie Jesus Christ), what is right and wrong can change.

  The laws of men do not exist to administer justice but to maintain the status quo.

  What I am suggesting is that if a criminal (by the definition in some law today) knows that the law will change in his/her favor, all that person has to do is kick the can down the road to avoid fines/prison until such time as the law is change so that he/she is no longer defined as a criminal.

  Thereafter, that person can use the law against those that accused and found him/her guilty in first place and maybe claim damages. Ie entirely reverse the situation.

  Haven't followed all that is going on with the child abuse but has anyone given consideration to this:

  Could there be people in the Organisation who are confident (rightly or wrongly) that at some point the age of consent will be lowered? Further, that the very concept of consent and the idea of a parent having care/rights over their children will be done away with?

  If so whatever legal victories have been won by victims could be turned around to make out the victims were 'old fashioned'. Or not in harmony with natural law or some other.

  (2 Timothy 3:1-5) . . .But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power;. . .

  Yes Jan - part of the cunning plan. Not only of WT but anyone wanting to make you think are too thick to understand something, when really they are making a fog of confusion out of something in order to to make you imagine they know better than you.

  Think of the magician with the three cups and the little ball hidden beneath. He moves the cups so fast it is difficult to follow which cup the ball is under. Also he has likely hidden the ball up his sleeve. So you never stood a chance of getting the answer right based on the information he presented you with. But if you knew his trick and saw through what he was doing, he would make sure the rest of his audience never got to learn what it was you knew. Because if they all knew he would have no hold on their minds.

  They say the Fall (Autumn) because in Israel the Secular Calendar starts in the Autumn, the 7th month Tishri turns the year. The Ecclesiastical Calendar starts in Spring and the 1st month Nisan turns the year.

  The Bible does not use the Secular Calendar, it uses the Ecclesiastical one.

  Looks like WT thinks Adam was created in the Autumn. So by their calculations he must have gone hungry for a bit as he went through Winter.

  (Genesis 1:29) . . .And God went on to say: “Here I have given to you all vegetation bearing seed which is on the surface of the whole earth and every tree on which there is the fruit of a tree bearing seed. To you let it serve as food.

  Maybe they think he had some pumpkins to eat. And maybe they think that newly created Adam appreciated autumn colour, was happy with windfalls and liked kicking piles of dried leaves.

  Employ enough double negatives and trigger words you can make people think you are saying anything they think you are saying which in fact you may not be saying at all.

  But I guess that's not what we are discussing here. Or is it? Well, if it is, here is an example. It is taken from page 317 of a book called the Blind Watch Maker, written by Richard Dawkins:

  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. The essence of life is statistical improbability on a colossal scale. Whatever is the explanation for the existence for life, therefore, it cannot be chance. The true explanation for the existence of life must embody the very antithesis of chance.   Love the way they wrote that:

  So you will know they have been resurrected because... it got published the Year Book? It was in the Watchtower, just after the article on Gilead Graduates? It was on the Broadcast - Gerrit announced it?

  Jesus did not answer the Pharisee according to the Pharisee's attitude. Instead he answered the Pharisee as the Pharisee deserved, so as to give the Pharisee a chance to get the right idea about God's values.

  One elder in our cong had dementia. He was in a home. But they kept him on as an elder.

  He was married by had a bad reputation for rubbing himself against the sisters. I remember him blocking a gate so I had to squeeze past his fat stomach.
